Founded by Kevin Frankental and Jaco van Staden, Lemon began with a fascination for the life that objects hold. Lemon’s work is an exploration of furniture that feels both rooted and alive — pieces that honour craftsmanship while sitting easily in the present. The studio is drawn to objects that bear the mark of human touch, that carry the story of use and time: a favourite chair, a worn handle, a surface gently burnished by years of living. While technology continues to reshape the world, it cannot replace the emotional register of something made with care. In an age defined by repetition, Lemon looks elsewhere for inspiration — finding beauty in imperfection and meaning in materials that endure. Lemon’s showroom in Cape Town offers a personal introduction to the collection and the philosophy that underpins it.

Join Lemon as they celebrate the opening of their new showroom, alongside the launch of new pieces by Kevin Frankental and Yaniv Chen. Also on display are works from the Reservoir stable of artists.
